No more Nuk Nuk!

I am officially a big boy!  Mommy and Daddy have been telling me all week that the Nuk Nuk fairy was going to come on Friday night.  I thought they were kidding, but since they kept bringing it up every day, I started to get a little nervous.  When mommy picked me up from daycare on Friday, in typical fashion, I asked for my 'Na Na' when I got into the car.  Mommy reminded me that the Nuk Nuk fairy was coming, and I BROKE DOWN.  I cried all the way home.  When we got home, I ran to daddy crying and started yelling at mommy.  They decided to let me have it 'one last time.'  Then we went to the toy store and I picked out a huge Woody (Toy Story) doll as a consolation for giving up my Nuk.  I was okay with it until bedtime, and then I broke down again.  Mommy laid in my bed with me to make me feel better, and I eventually came to terms with the fact that I would give up my Nuk.  She reminded me how I was a big boy and that the babies need my Nuks.
On Saturday I only asked for my Nuk a few times, but I remembered that I had given them up and they were gone.  I'm still a little sad, but I'm a big boy and am proud of myself!  When mommy was putting together the nursery today, I even told her (without any prompting) that we needed to put a Nuk in the crib for the baby.
Me and my new Woody doll (and of course Mickey)
That's all for now.  G'night from the 'big boy'.

Friday Night Fun

Last Friday night, we got together with a bunch of our friends and had pizza, beer (juice for us of course), and then the Dads and boys headed to the Rogers football homecoming game.  Since I was a little cranky that day, I decided at the last minute to stay home with the girls and little kids.  Daddy was disappointed that he couldn't bring me with to the game.
My friends and I had so much fun playing and eating snacks while our Moms caught up and sipped on wine.  Here is the only picture from the evening.  My best friend Kendyl and I like to go off on our own and play.  We even crawled into baby Bennett's crib.  Both of our mommies were a little upset, oops :)
