My first Twins game

Last weekend my Grandpa Larry, Uncles Travis and Jake, cousin Hunter and Jake's girlfriend Lindsey came to visit. What a lucky boy I am to have so many people come to my house! On Saturday we all got up and went to the Twins game. I was so excited because I had never been to a game before.

Here is a picture of me and mommy before the game. I didn't want to smile for the picture, but I think I look cute anyway. Oh, and on a side note, my mommy taught me a new trick....on the way home from daycare she always asks me 'who's your best friend?' My first response now is 'mama.' I don't even really know what a best friend is, but it seems to make mommy's day so I play along.

Here's Grandpa, Hunter and I standing by our seats. Hunter was so excited for the game, he is a HUGE Twins fan!
All Hunter talked about for weeks was how he wanted walleye on a stick. He found it and ate the whole thing and said it was delicious. I decided I didn't want a bite, it didn't look very good to me. Where are the corndogs??

I got pretty antsy during the game, probably because I missed my morning nap and afternoon nap. Daddy took me out of the game for awhile to walk around. I found huge stuffed bears in one of the stores, and WANTED them! Daddy said no. But, he did buy me this sweet Twins hat. Mommy had a fit because it was an adult size, but I didn't care. It's my favorite.
When we got back to our seats, daddy finally went to get me some food. He got cheese curds and two corn dogs. I loved the corn dogs and almost ate a whole one. It was delicious.

After my snack, I started to get crabby again. Baseball games are entirely too long. After mommy took me out for a little walk, we came back to our seats and I decided I had enough. I passed out on mommy's lap and missed the rest of the game.

On Sunday, everyone except Mommy, Hunter and I went to the Vikings game. Here is a picture of everyone ready for the game (Hunter didn't really go, but he had his Vikes gear on anyway).

While everyone was at the game, mommy took Hunter and I to the park twice, and out to Culver's for lunch. We had a great day! Hunter even pulled me in my wagon to the park, thanks Hunter!

Play date with June

On Saturday my friend June came to visit me. Her mom and dad (Bob and Amy) went to the Gopher's football game with her brother Charlie so she got to come stay with us for the day. At first I didn't like sharing my toys (I was pretty mean, sorry June!), but as the day went on I got more used to the 'baby.' June started to cry at one point, and my mommy picked her up and then rocked her (in MY chair!) So, I decided to 'fake cry' to see what my mommy would do. It didn't work very well because she just kept rocking June. What a crock, I don't think I like sharing my mommy. Thank goodness I am an only child.
Here are a few pictures from my day with June.
Mommy and Daddy took us to the park. June was too little to play on most of the things at the park, but we got to swing together which was fun.
By the end of the day, I realized how fun it was to have June around. Thanks for coming to visit, next time I promise to share all my toys with you!

Visit from Papa

Grandpa came to visit me for about 4 days, and man do I love my grandpa! He teaches me all sorts of 'tricks' that mommy doesn't appreciate, but I just can hardly wait to see what he has up his sleeve when I see him. Playing toys with Grandpa is my favorite thing to do.
Grandpa taught me how to 'hit the deck' as he likes to call it while I was waiting for mommy to make my food. We thought it was SO funny to pound on the table and highchair while we were waiting for food. My mommy didn't seem to find it so funny. She especially doesn't care for the fact that I still do it even though Grandpa isn't visiting anymore.
Grandpa let me play in his car one day. I thought that was so cool, he even turned the radio on for me so I could jam out while I was pretending to drive. He's pretty picky about his car, so I felt special when he let me play in it.
One day Grandpa helped daddy trim trees in our yard. I obviously needed to help and see what was going on. My favorite part was jumping in the branches and leaves when they were done cutting.
On the day that Grandpa left, we enjoyed one last doughnut together. Every morning Grandpa would share his doughnut with me, and I loved it. Thanks for coming to visit Grandpa, I had a blast!

Week at the lake

Okay, so I know it's been awhile, and I've been a horrible blogger lately! My mommy just changed jobs, so that caused us to fall behind. Now that everything is all settled, we hope to send updates more often. Back in August we went to spend a few days with Grandpa and Grandma Ploeger and then out to Ottertail lake for a week with the Owens side of the family. I had a good time at the cabin, but I came down with the flu while I was there and was sick for most of the time which was a drag. Mommy and Daddy even had to take milk away from me because it was upsetting my tummy so much. I got to drink soy milk for 2 weeks and it was yummy. Here are a few pictures from my week!

I got to help Grandma snap beans. I didn't really understand the concept, and kept eating the raw green beans. Grandma thought I was so funny. I loved playing in the lake water!
I thought it was so fun and loved to splash!
I also enjoyed the sand. I even ate a little bit, but mommy didn't care for that too much. Oops, sorry mommy.
One night I got to help the grownups play beanbags. I didn't really like their rules, so I just kept picking the bags up and putting them in the hole.
There was plenty of playtime at the lake, my favorite thing to do was tackle daddy.
These are all my cousins on my daddy's side...Brady, Alison, me and Hunter. What a nice looking bunch, huh?
Uncle Jake kept taking me for rides on the floatie. I giggled every time because I thought it was so fun.
Every night mommy and daddy took me for a walk on the dock. I had very specific rules of holding their hands the entire time though. I guess the deep water is off limits at my age.
That's all for now! I promise to blog more often :)
