Icky Winter!

We have had the flu bug going around our house lately, and each one of us has been sick. It started out with Mommy and then Daddy got it. I thought I was going to be okay, but then I got sick too. I was such a good boy when Mommy and Daddy were sick though. Here I am laying with Daddy when he wasn't feeling good. I just wanted him to feel better!

Mommy taught me how to cover Daddy up when he was sick, and one day I even shared my Mickey with him. I changed my mind after about a minute though. We are all hoping for warmer weather so we can get over these dang winter colds!

Off to Grandma's House!

This past week I got to spend a few days at my Grandma and Grandpa Ploeger's house. It was President's Day on Monday, and Shelli has vacation that day. Since Mommy and Daddy both had to work, I got to stay at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Mommy drove me up there on Friday night and then had to leave on Saturday because the weather was bad. The weather was bad for awhile, so I got to stay a few extra days and Grandpa brought me home on Wednesday. I had a good time while I was there! I wasn't very nice to Grandma though; I refused to eat the whole time I was there. I think I just missed my home. Sorry Grandma!

We didn't get very many pictures, but here is one of me relaxing on my couch watching Mickey Mouse. I tend to get a bit spoiled when I'm at Grandma's house :)

Even though I had fun, I was glad to get back home to see Mommy and Daddy. I heard that they had fun when I was gone and even went out a couple nights. Gee, I miss out on all the fun! Mommy had a surprise for me when I got home, and I noticed them as soon as I walked into my room. She bought me a pair of Mickey jammies. I love wearing them, and can't get over the fact that Mickey is all over them. I keep saying "Meee" (that's how I say Mickey) over and over. They just might be too distracting to sleep in....

Happy Valentine's Day

Every year we have a party at daycare for Valentine's Day. Last year my mommy forgot to send treats with me because I was just a baby, so this year I reminder her. I got to pick out my own valentine's cards and candy to give all my friends at daycare. Mommy and me spent some time on Sunday putting together the treat bags for my friends.

I was so excited that I got to help put together the bags. Mommy even let me sample some of the candy to make sure it was good. I got a little carried away and I think more candy ended up in my belly than the bags! :) It was good though. Happy Valentine's Day!
