Elliot- 6 months old

Where has the time gone?  I am 6 months old already, and learning SO many new things!  I have mastered how to roll (and roll, and roll, and roll....).  I also have 2 shiny new teeth (whew, those were rough to cut!).  Overall I am a very happy baby.  I smile almost all the time, and generally only get cranky when I'm hungry or tired.  I have also finally mastered sleeping.  I average about 8 hours a night, which mommy and daddy are VERY grateful for!  Here are my stats for my half birthday:

Weight: 18 pounds, 5 ounces (63%)
Length: 26.5 inches (49%)
Head: 17.25 inches (49%)

I'm kind of short, fat and bald at this point, but I'm a baby, so give me a break :)

At the dr.'s office..waiting for shots
(Noah warned me about this!)
Happy baby
Getting into mischief...sorry
Noah for touching all of your stuff
Getting stuck by the fireplace (my favorite thing to do)...come on mom, put
the camera down and help me for goodness sakes!

Week with Grandma and Papa

Last week, Shelli was closed, so us boys packed up and headed to Grandma and Papa's house.  We stayed at Grandma and Papa Ploeger's house for the week, and got to see Grandma and Papa Owens at night after work.  We had a fun-filled week, but were glad to see mommy and daddy again (and I think Grandma and Grandpa were too!)
Elliot decided to learn how to roll really good, get a tooth, have a bad eczema break out, not sleep for more than 45 minutes at time, and I (Noah) got a high fever right before mommy had to leave for the week.  It was also very hot the entire week (90 plus) so we had to spend a lot of time indoors, which meant we all got a little antsy :)  All in all though, it was a good week.  Thanks to all Grandparents for taking care of us while mommy and daddy had to work!  We hope we are invited back after our crazy week....

Rockin' Rogers Days 2012

We had such a busy weekend 2 weeks back, that we had to recover a bit before writing a post about it :)  It was the annual "Rockin Rogers Days' which is our town's gathering that is filled with a bunch of festivities (all of which raise money that goes back into the community) such as concerts, fair, games, parade, food and fun.

Thursday night after daycare, we met Gavin, Avery and their parents at the fair.  We enjoyed the rides and of course ate some corn dogs.  Friday night all of us kids gathered at the babysitter's house while our parents got together for the Johnny Holmes concert at the beer gardens.  We waited forever for them to get home, but finally fell asleep since they didn't get back until after 2 in the morning.  Geesh!  Then on Saturday we all met at the parade and stocked up on candy and other fun things.  After naps we scooted over to Kendyll's house (Noah's best friend from daycare) and jumped on the trampoline, ate popsicles, and just had fun.

Here are a few pictures from our fun weekend to celebrate our wonderful community.
