This past week I got to spend a lot of quality time with Mommy because Daddy was on his annual fishing trip to Devils Lake with Grandpa Larry, and uncles Travis and Jake.
He went last year too, but I wasn't old enough to know that he was gone. This year I was looking everywhere for him. Mommy and I played the 'where's daddy' game every morning and I looked in the closet, under the bed, under other furniture, in the shower, in the pantry, but never found him.
Mommy and I had so much fun together, she even let me nap with her in bed (shhh, don't tell daddy!) on the weekend.
On Friday, auntie Lea and Amy came to visit. We all then jumped in Mommy's car and went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Ploeger. I just loved all the attention that Amy gave me! She didn't even get sick of me once :) We did so much when we were at Grandma's: we went shopping, went over to visit my new cousin Ali (I didn't like the attention mama was giving her though so I was a bit naughty), and met Grandma Patty at the pool. I was a little bashful with my relatives this time around (both Grandmas to be exact) and I even threw a fit when mommy left for a few minutes and ended up falling asleep on the living room floor. Grandma Patty told mommy when she got home that I had thrown the bottle at her and 'yelled'. I didn't want either one of my Grandmas to rock me to sleep. Sorry Grandmas, I still love you :)
This is my cousin Amy, isn't she beautiful? She's my favorite to play with!
Grandma didn't mind that I made a mess out of her cupboards, I was having the time of my life while mama took a shower.
I had to show Lea, Amy and Grandma some of my dance moves. They thought I was pretty good.
Mommy had a golf tournament on Thursday, so I got to stay late at Shelli's house. I had so much fun because I got to hang out upstairs, which I don't get to do during the day. I played with Brooklyn and Lauren (she got to stay late too). When mommy picked me up she told me we had to hurry and take a bath because a few of her co-workers were coming over after golfing. Although I don't like stangers much, I played with one of mommy's co-workers (Kayla) the whole time until I had to goto bed.
I am talking alot these days. I can say these words: mama, dada, ball, puppy, dog, book, duck. Some people might say they sound alot alike, but mommy always knows what I am trying to say. I get very excited when I say a word and she repeats it back to me. Finally someone can understand me! I also love to dance, which I learned at daycare. I shake my head, wiggle my arms, and bounce up and down. "Hey Soul Sister" by Train is my favorite song, and I giggle everytime it comes on in the car.
I just started to make this face too lately. My mommy thinks it's so funny because she did the same thing when she was my age. She is going to try to find a picture to compare.
That's all for now, later!
