Apple Orchard

On Saturday we met up some of our friends at Apple Jack Orchards.  I have been talking about picking out my 'big pumpkin' for weeks now, and I was excited that it was finally time to go!

Finally, the pumpkins!
So many to pick from!
Not thrilled to stand by the sign :)
We met up some of my friends over by the orchard, and they were doing train rides behind the tractor.  I was so proud of myself for going on the ride by myself....just don't mind the Nuk in my mouth.  I needed a little comfort to get me through the long ride :)

Some of the kids on the wagon ride..again, ignore the Nuk.
I'm working through my addiction I promise :)
All of us kids minus Addie and the three babies
Lunch on the run...too much to see to eat sitting down :)
Peek-a-boo!
Another kid shot with most of us kids
Finally, I got to choose my pumpkins!

Big Boy Bed!

While I was staying with my Grandmas and Grandpas for a week, mommy and daddy painted the guest room and hung a cool new sports border for me.  I was excited when I got home, but only because I thought it was a new room to run around in (since it was completely emptied out).   They kept telling me that I was going to get a new bed, but I didn't really understand.  Then, the next Saturday, a BIG truck came, and mommy told me that it was all for me!  I started to get excited and watched out the door....
As the guys carried the stuff in, I would go up and down the steps each time to watch them.  I tried to 'help' them put together the bed, but I think I might have just been in the way...
Once they were done, I finally realized that this was MY new room, and I was so excited!  What a cool big boy room :)

I have been doing so good in my new bed.  I don't get out until the morning, I don't cry when it's time for bed, and I sleep all night.  I guess it was time for me to move out of the crib.  Oh, and when I go into my old room now, I point at the crib and say 'baby.'  I like my new room so much that I have decided the baby can have my old one.  But I made sure to take all of my favorite blankets out of there, those are mine :)

Potty Training....Not so much!

A few months ago, Mommy bought me a cool new potty chair.  It looks like a froggy, and I thought it was the coolest thing.  The first several times I sat on it, I went potty, and we were all so excited!  The 'newness' has worn off though now, and I don't care much for that dumb chair.  :)  I much prefer to just go in my diaper.  The potty chair serves as a great 'stool' for me to step on to reach the light switch in the bathroom though....

Mommy always can tell when I'm messing in my diaper because I found a favorite hiding spot (behind the couch).  I tell anyone that comes into the room when I'm going 'no, no, go in there' and point to another room.  Hey, a boy needs his privacy, right?

We'll keep trying with this potty training thing.....I keep hearing that it would be nice if I would learn how before the baby comes.  I intend to do it on my own timeline, thank you :)
