Happy New Year-To the Doctor Again!

I had a few bad weeks around the end of the year, and missed a lot of daycare. I became an expert at going to the doctor's office, so much that I said started saying 'no no' even before we got out of the car in the parking lot. I don't like that place!
I started out the week before New Year's with strep throat and missed two days of daycare. On New Year's Eve Mommy and Daddy were busy getting ready for their party, but I still didn't feel very good. They decided to take me to Urgent Care that night and I got some stronger medicine. I went to bed while they rung in the New Year with their friends. I started to feel better for a few days, but then I started to get sick again with very high fevers. My 'uncle' Tony stayed home with me one day while Mommy and Daddy went to work but then Mommy came home at noon and we headed off to the doctor again. All I wanted to do was lay on the floor. After another round of medicine I finally started to get back to my normal self. Whew, I didn't think I was going to ever get better.
Here is a picture of Mommy and me at one of my doctor's visits. I thought I would humor her and smile for the camera. But, really Mommy? I don't feel good, put the camera away!

Christmas!

Okay, it's time to catch everyone up. I have been TERRIBLE at blogging lately, and am very behind. I have decided to just put up a few pictures so everyone can see what I've been up to the past few months. Here are a few pictures from Christmas. We had a great time, and I was excited that I could participate more this year. After a tough ride to Grandmas (the roads were pretty icy), we finally made it and got to stay for a few days.
Me and my silly Mama on our way to Grandmas.
My cutie pie cousin, Ally. She likes to pull her socks off just like me! :)
I really was even nice enough to give Ally kisses.
Here is our family picture. I was being my normal cranky self and refused to smile for the picture. It's okay though, because Mommy says that this will help capture my true personality during this time (Sorry mommy, I can't help these tantrums!)
I was so excited to help pass out presents this year!
When nobody was looking, I got into Daddy's can of beer. Good thing it wasn't opened yet...
My and Hunter playing peek-a-boo with one of the boxes.
Mommy and I opening my kitchen that I got!
I also got a bunch of food to go with my kitchen!
All I really wanted to do was play with it, but it took forever to put together!
I think I had a little too much fun at Christmas, because the morning after I was a little cranky :) Mommy and Daddy let me have some down time and watch some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. That always helps put me in a better mood.

Holidazzle and getting ready for Christmas

This past week we finally got our Christmas tree up. I was so excited to see it, and every night when we get home mommy and I turn the lights on. Here I am checking out the gifts under the tree (even though they weren't wrapped yet!)
One night I got to help mommy wrap a few gifts. My favorite part was putting bows on. I got a little carried away and put 13 bows on one box. I was just being creative!
Okay, ready for the next one!
On Saturday we headed downtown to see the Holidazzle parade. For those of you that don't know what this is, it's just like a regular parade, only it's at night and the floats are covered in lights. It's pretty cool.
We met up with 4 other families and had pizza first before the parade at Pizza Luce. Then we all bundled up and walked a few blocks to watch the Holidazzle. I got cold out there, so daddy brought me inside one of the buildings to warm up. He even let me ride up and down the escalator a few times while I was warming up.
Here are a few of my friends (Brooklyn, Zach, Gavin and Brady) watching the parade. We had front row seats!
Mommy, Daddy and I decided to take the skyway back to our car after the parade to help stay warm.
I was a happy boy on the way home! What a fun night!
