Fourth of July

For the Fourth of July this year, daycare was closed the whole week, so we got to spend the time with Mommy and Daddy.  We did a lot of fun stuff like go to the pool, visit the zoo, light off fireworks, run through the sprinklers, learn how to wash a car with daddy, and eat a ton of popsicles (it was a HOT week).  Here are some pictures from our week:

Elliot-18 Months

Well, I am another 3 months older, and I keep learning stuff every day!  I just turned 18 months old, and I am a busy little boy.  I try hard to keep up with my brother, but sometimes I just can't, and get frustrated.  I continue to work on my speech, and am saying a few words now.  My first word was lawnmower (I'm an overachiever).  Mommy and Daddy remind me to focus on easier words, and in the past few weeks I have also learned ball, duck, dadda and no no.  I have a lot to learn, but I'm getting there...I keep reminding Mommy that everyone works at their own pace!  (in other words, give me a break!)  :)  I LOVE to scream, and it drives people a little nuts.  I don't care for TV at all, but I will sit for a little while and watch Baby Einsteins (it fascinates me).  I eat almost anything, although I have started getting pickier lately and throw the food on the floor that I don't like.  I know that I'm not supposed to do that, so I instantly say 'no no' to myself when I do it.

Here are my stats from my 18 month visit with Dr. Paulson:
Weight: 24 pounds, 12 ounces (34%)
Height: 33 Inches (70%)
Head: 18.75 inches (45%)

I somehow lost my 'chubbiness' and got a little taller that I have been in the past.  But I'm healthy and that's good!  Look how good my skin looks too!
That's all for now, time to go play with my best friend (Noah)!

Noah's 4 Year Birthday Party

Okay, okay, we are a little behind.  But it's because we have been SUPER busy and enjoying our summer!  It's been a few months, but I had my 4 year birthday party and it was super fun.  We had it at the Maple Grove Maple Maze/Swimming Park this year.  The theme was Spiderman (of course) and I had a ton of fun with my friends.  We jumped around in the Maple Maze, ate pizza and cake, then ended the day with swimming.
I got to celebrate my birthday a lot this year.  First it was a party at daycare, then cake and presents on my actual birthday, then a party the next weekend.  I think my birthday should last that long every year!
