Happy Easter!

This past weekend was Easter, and I enjoyed a great weekend with my mommy and daddy.  Here is a flashback to last year's Easter, I've grown a lot in a year!

We made Easter hats at Shelli's on Friday during our party, and I didn't take it off all weekend.  Mommy had to tape it several times because I kept ripping it.

I got to help Mommy prepare some of Easter dinner on Saturday, and I was so excited to be able to help.  I made a little bit of a mess, but Mommy didn't mind since I was having so much fun.

On Sunday, we got up early to head to Easter Sunday church.  Before we got ready though, we headed downstairs and to my surprise, the Easter Bunny came to visit me!  I got a basket full of candy, some clothes, pluto and donald dolls, and a 'popcorn popper' push toy.  I'm pretty sure that toy drives mommy nuts, but I don't care, I love pushing it around over and over.

Hi Mommy!  

My suspicions were correct, mommy and daddy went on a trip, and didn't bring me along!  Mommy picked me up from daycare on Tuesday and we headed to Grandma's house.  I thought everything was okay, but them Mommy slipped out and I didn't see her again for a whole week!  It was okay though, I had a ton of fun with both of my Grandmas and Grandpas during the week.  I only got homesick the very last day of my stay.  Here are a few pictures from my week.

During my stay, I did a lot of things, including attending Grandma's tea party at her house with all the ladies (I was a very good boy), and helping Grandpa water his plants every day.  

On Friday night, I got to go over to my other Grandma and Grandpa's house for the weekend.  My cousin Hunter also came over and spent the night with me while I was there.  We had so much fun!  Grandma took me to the school to an Easter Egg hunt, and I had a great time.  Hunter and I had a 'sleepover' party on the floor of Grandma and Grandpa's room.

After a fun-filled week at with my Grandmas and Grandpas, I was feeling a little homesick and wanted to go back to see my Mommy and Daddy.  I kept going to get my shoes and coat and saying 'bye bye' but nobody was understanding what I wanted.  On Wednesday, Grandpa Ploeger packed me up in his truck and we headed back to my house.  Uncle Jeff came along too, but I didn't really care for him in the car :)  I was so excited to see my parents!  I acted shy at first, but quickly warmed up and then didn't want them to even leave the room.  They showed me a few pictures from their trip.....this one is my favorite, except, this can't be right because it looks like they are having a great time and I wasn't even there!  How can that be?  

Thanks for a great week Grandmas and Grandpas!  I'm sure glad to be back home in my own crib again though.  I plan on keeping on eye on mommy and daddy so they don't try to sneak off again anytime soon.  

Big Boy Haircut

Today I got to stay home from daycare and spend the day with mommy.  I had a little stomach bug most of the week, so mommy decided to keep me home for the day.  Turns out, I wasn't really sick at all so we got to spend a pretty fun day together.  After mommy did some working from home in the morning, we met daddy for lunch then headed to get my hair cut.  Since this was my 4th haircut, I didn't mind it so much and I was a really good boy for most of it.  Here is the end result, don't I look handsome?

I have been loving my mommy a lot lately.  Some might even call me clingy.  Mommy is enjoying the extra attention, because she knows it won't be long before I will be my independent self again.  For now, though, I can't get enough Mommy time.  

To be honest, I might just be a little clingy because I know something is up.  Mommy and Daddy keep talking about some 'trip' and I also have been hearing about spending time with my Grandmas and Grandpas.  Mommy also says every morning how many days are left; this morning she said 5 more days!  I'm not sure what that's about, but I have a feeling they are leaving me for awhile.  I'm really trying to come up with a plan to go with them......
